Out for the day

We had a trip at the end of may. We were barely back and he had a stroke. He has not been released to drive, but has gone back to work, so I drive him in to work and kill time until he is done, then drive him home. . . but there is more to that story as well.

@GardenGerty There's a lot happening in my life. I'm just not someone who really starts a discussion here. Especially these days that I don't have the time to do that at all. But I'm a fast reader and I can comment really fast. So I do that more than making my own post.

We are fortunate that there was not a lot of damage. It did reveal to us that somewhere along the line, really recently, something has damaged his heart, which is what caused the stroke. He is a generally healthy person and this was shocking.

@changjiangzhibin89 He had just finished some cancer treatments and had been seeing several health professionals on a very frequent basis. It has been said that perhaps a virus damaged his heart, causing myopathy. The cardio myopathy caused Atrial fibrillation--where the heart beats irregularly. When that happens a clot or thrombus can be thrown and go to the brain, heart,or lungs and cause damage. He is now on medicine to keep the blood from clotting when he has Afib. He will be seeing a heart doctor next week.

@GardenGerty I guess the thrombus is the culprit,so it is important to have regular checkups.

If we look we do find things to anticipate.

Yes, the best I can do to save money is to stay away from the stores.

I was alive, hubby is alive. The sun is shining, but it is not too hot. He was able to work, so it is a good day. Hope yours was the same.

It did not work out, but maybe today I will make it.

In his mind he is. . . and he is much stronger in the last few days. According to the occupational therapist he passed the test, but the doctor has to read her report and sign off on it.

@GardenGerty I think I might start bugging the doctor, lol

I do have pictures to add some interest to things this weekend.

So glad to see you. I think I will be ready to rest and go back to work. Things are interesting there, but not nearly so personal.

Really what I am doing right now is taking my husband to work and home, and waiting while he works as it is fifty miles from our house.
