So as some of you have read in my first post myself and my friend are doing our Irish bucket list. We want to visit every county in the country and make sure we get a picture with he country signs as well!!
Sign number 1: County Laois
This is where myself and my best friend live. We are both blow ins, originally from Dublin. I never thought there would be so many things to do and see on Laois.
So far we've done 2 things in this County that there is to do, I know I know that's quite pathetic but it's because we live here we can do it at any time.
So the first place we went to was the slieve bloom mountains. They were amazing. Wasn't a bad drive, even the view from the car was amazing. When you get to the viewing point there is a car park, you can see wooden stairs leading up to the main viewing point. Despite being very very windy and absolutely Baltic. The view from the top was lovely. Ireland is 50 shades of green lol!!!
The second place was called Emo Court, this is a very very large old house with gorgeous gardens surrounding it. It is on many acres of land. It has a lovely lake and walk ways around the hole estate. There are tea rooms, which serve loads of different food, cakes, drinks.
I would definitely recommend going here if you ever find yourself in this part of the country.
On till next time.. ????
