Worked in the front yard this morning...

After I came home from walking Angel, I stopped and got some water, then went into the backyard, got the 12-gallon rubbermaid can, and went out to the front yard. 98% of anything that was growing out there was pretty much "done", (not that I really had time to plant much of any thing in 2016--it was "reruns" from last year and weeds that I was pulling). The Morning Glories grow at the left of our front walkway, but they always manage (even though they didn't do spectacularly this year) to crawl around to the front-of-the-house planter box, which is what I took the photo of. There's a ton to pull/trim both in the front and backyards, and I don't make much of a dent in either, but at least it's something. I pretty much filled the 12-gallon can, watered our hydrangea, which is in the alcove by our front walkway where the orange tree is, and decided I was done. The front yard where I was working is in direct sunlight--no shade like in the back yard, and I could feel the heat. Tomorrow I'll be in the backyard again. Right now I'm going to go and get some more water, then vacuum the family room. It's only 9:46 a.m. by my computer clock, so I'm doing pretty good so far on the "getting things done" scale by my estimation, anyway.
