Well hello everyone! Hope your day is going well. For me its my Monday and I willbe putting in a 10 hour day here shortly. I found a job opening at my company that may or may not bea little out of my league (what isnt?) But before I become complacent Im going to apply!
This job requires both a cover letter AND a writing sample. Cover letter I can do. Writing sample? Huh? Ive never applied for a job that requires that.
What do you make of this? Have you ever done this for a job application? What kind of writing do you think? I do not have to write reports or anything for work, although Im sure I have an old paper around from college courses from a few years ago. Do you think that would be good enough?
Any advice appreciated. Wish me luck :-)

I was thinking graphology but I don't think she means handwriting I think she means writing as in a sample of your writing such as a story or academic paper that is typed...that's what I think anyway.
graphology only works with handwriting right??

I've had to give writing samples to a few writing sites I signed up for. I think it's so the employers can get a feel for the type of writing/work you'll do. I think an old college paper will work just fine for the sample.
