I DID IT!

I finally got outside with the dogs for a little walking time, plus I needed to dust the veggies because we got plant eating bugs! Yes it was 85 degrees with 76% humidity, I did not care all I seen was sunshine.I knew the ground was full of water but we were going walking anyways! Half way around the field we had to stop, it was no longer a couple inches it was a foot or more deep but that was okay we can walk the garden, we walked that edge and back and forth down each row. Me and the dogs were covered in mud and grass seeds. I noticed something had been eating the plants so I came back to the house and got the dust, me and Harley went plant by plant and gave it a light dusting, take that you bugs! When I finished up outside and came inside Tony had already bathed and was waiting on me. I got a bath, all prettied up with a very nice hair style and walked to the back door to leave and ya know what? It began to freakin pour rain! I had to say it, I said " F it! I am not staying home!" I grabbed a pink baseball cap and crammed it on my beautiful hair do and a throw over the cap and my shirt and made a run for the car. We decided to have dinner in the next town over, a 30 minute drive, when we got there it was NO rain, NONE the entire time we were there. On the way home the closer we got the wetter it got, I just cannot believe this weather. I did have a nice day and this evening did save my sanity. How was your day? Lol, that is surely odd weather. So what happened when you came back to your place, was it still raining? Here it is too hot and no sign of rain. So we are waiting for it. But yes more rain is kind of frustrating thing.

Sounds like you've got a rain cloud over your house. Glad you got out and away from the rain for a bit.

That seems like a heavy down pour. We need that here, though seasonally, it should be rainy days here but the sun is shinning so brightly and it is very hot.

It should be hot with no rain here.

Some times it will rain on one side of the street and not the other side. Rain has to stop and start somewhere.

I'm reminded of a cartoon where rain clouds kept following the character while all around the weather was fine. At least you got to spend a few hours of dry weather conditions before heading back home.
