Great Saturday with my son

So I was to tired yesterday to talk about this. We went to the NHL Draft, the first time it has been in Chicago and it was a great time. I got Chris Chelios autograph, he use to be a Blackhawk back in the day. I remember watching him years back and was very happy about getting his autograph. We were able to enjoy the fest outside with beautiful weather too. Seeing the draft was kind of cool too, I have never been to a draft before so it was intersting. Seeing all the teams there picking the new players. It was something to see these kids so happy, all their hard work pays off by getting drafted. We were able to get some photos of these new players. They were happy to take pictures and sign autographs, you could see it in their faces when you asked them. The funny thing is most of them also looked like they were shocked by the attention they were getting. I also got to pay $10 for two bottles of water. That was a real treat. I'm not sure it was the best water I have ever drank but for sure it was the most expensive water I ever drank. Great time glad I had the chance to go and experience this. The real treat of the whole day was not seeing future hockey players, not the weather, not seeing an old hockey player that I watched years ago. It was that my son and I got to experience this together and enjoy the day together. We have another great memory that we can share for years to come.
