Where does the garbage go

This is a picture of the big garbage bin in front of our dormitory building. It is carried away several times a day. then, where is it going? in the end ,being fired or buried?

when i walk on the street, i can always several big garbage pool with nasty smell in my home town

I don't think we handle the garbage well. Actually we just waste so much and don't try to recycle them. I think most of the trash will be fried and buried.

They would segregate the recyclables like plastic, paper, aluminum cans etc..and sell to a junk shop, the rest would probably end up in a land fill or incinerator if it's still allowed in your place. Welcome to Mylot

being incinerated though causing heavy pollution sounds better than being buried cost the environment unknowingly----it is hair-raising.
