Where do you keep your money safe?

I hide some of mine from my stock broker (who tends to make be broker) by keeping it at B of A.

In a bank, not one, but four banks.

I too know of many people who keep money at home rather than keep it in the bank.I keep very little money with me ..But I have a piggy bank into which I drop all the coins at the end of the day

I carry only sufficient money for my expenses on my pant´s pocket and the rest is at the bank

I have a friend who really keeps his money under a mattress @TheInvisibleMan , I rather leave it in the bank.

You mean, if we actually have money lol?

I put it in a piggy bank. Sometimes I did not manage to save, I took all my money from the piggy bank.

For me, I'd still my put/deposit my money it in the bank. But these past few weeks, We've been having problems with banks here in the Philippines (i.e. disputes, missing amount, discrepancy, etc.) and now Filipinos are thinking whether it's still safe to deposit money in banks or not...

I keep mine in the bank where I know it is safe and I rarely use cash.

Ours is in several savings accounts, many investment accounts, a checking account, a safety deposit box, in a safe in our home, our wallets, and in an envelope n a drawer.

I have savings and checkings account since I am so far away at school and it is the easiest way to keep and get money while there. I do have a hiding spot in my room though for when I get cash and I do hoard it up in there till the end of summer or until I get a lot to put into my savings account. Doing it this way I am very very unlikely to spend it if it gets left in my room and not my bank account.

I keep all my money in banks. Otherwise I'd end up spending most of it cause I have no self control.

I think in india, many of people (specially the last generation when ATM's where not that common) had weird places to save their money. The grain boxes, some treasure box below the soil, old shoe boxes etc. Now a days, it's banks for most of us.

i keep coins in a piggy bank that needs to be emptied out sometime in the next month and i keep some extra cash in a safe thats in my hidden in my home that i forget about sometimes

For the most part, most of mine is in a Bank. From time to time I have had some hid around the house, and occassionally have hid it too good and then find $$ I forgot about. But I have known some to hide it in their mattresses and had a friend who swore by keeping it all in her Bra, and usually always had a couple hundred in there most of the time.

I don't like to keep more cash with me. Today we don't even need a wallet to go out. Everything will be done by a mobile phone. Even if a street vendor can use the digital payment and accept to it. Keeping a lot of cash is never a wise way.
