Steamed salmon for lunch.

I had taken out a piece of salmon from the freezer and today I decided I´d do it steamed. If I decided to fry it (so good too!) I would later have to clean the kitchen which is much colder than my bedroom.
The salmon is almost ready and I have some rice that I will heat in the microwave oven. And meanwhile, I´ll also sautee some veggies, like I did yesterday.
See you later, friends

Sounds good, I may cook fish for dinner now that I read this. I had a mix of veggies, cauliflower, carrots and pea pods for lunch.

I love the fried fish that Leticia makes. But then, after we eat it, she cleans up the kitchen.

@marguicha Hard to believe it since many foreigners don't eat raw fish, even if it is salmon. I am glad that you like it. I like sushi and I like make it at home with raw salmon

I love raw salmon when I eat Japanese food. It is only second to tuna for me.

I love salmon. I usually bake mine and use Spike. We usually have asparagus with it.

Steamed Salmon? Never heard of doing it that way, but I bet it is good. My brother in law can cook up some of the Best baked salmon I have ever tried. Is steaming it better for you? Do you just place some on rice?

It is and as the pot is closed the kitchen is not left smelly. And it is better as it does not use fried oil. I heated the rice and the salmon was at the side of it.

Yes. And I heated a small amount of rice as I also had the veggies. I´m going to obey the doctor about small amounts of carbs.
