What do you think of the TV show Dexter? / myLot

In one world the TV show Dexter is Phenomenal. Michael C. Hall As Dexter Morgan is perfection. All of the casting is spot on in my opinion. It's a darker show but has just the right amount of funny moments to keep it from getting to dark. Definitely second out of three of my favorite shows of all time.

The first 3 or 4 seasons were great but the last couple were poor. How it all ended was bad.

I read the first Dexter novel and found it very gripping. What little I have seen of the TV show looks too different from the book to make me interested in watching it.
