I am actually amused by your post. But there is nothing wrong with it. The reason why I am amused is because I am from Sri Lanka and when we go out for the day I have only 50 cents in my pocket. So how can anyone over bill me with 50 cents. But I can't to for a meal with that. I will need about 70 cents to have a meal.

I would have asked on it. I mean if they do that with enough people 50 cents adds up to a lot more money. Why should they get it? I mean yes it's not much but it's your money not theirs why should you pay more then you should.

I would probably just say, "I was just doing my own calculations and it appears you have charged a little extra, Is there a reason why?" I wouldnt make a big deal i would just simply bring it to their attention, They may of added it as a tip or it could of even been a simple mistake!

I wouldn't complain. If the service was good, that 50 cents can be added to the tip. If the service was bad, I'd probably subtract 50 cents from the tip.
