Losing weight can be so hard for many. I know, Ive been helping a friend try to lose weight. Shes having a tough time.. She has changed her diet, walks, drinks water and still doesnt lose weight.. We need some ideas. Some say a certain tea helps lose weight.. never tried it.. any ideas ..

I know right? It’s one of the reasons I got depressed because I needed to lose weight to concieve a baby. I’m overweight and the doctor said that since I used to be fit before my weight might be one of the reasons I cannot get pregnant... I’v tried dieting and going to exercise but it’s so hard to get fit again, so far I’ve only lost 3 kilos and it’s already been 6months...

I know. I wish it was as difficult to gain weight as it is to lose it.
Truthfully, I think your friend might want to talk to her doctor. There may be a medical reason behind not being able to lose weight. And, as they always tell us, "you should always consult medical advice before beginning a weight loss program." I've cut out bread, and I walk 2-3 miles a day. I've lost maybe ten pounds, which isn't a lot compared to what I have to lose, but that's ten pounds less that I have to lose now!

I believe it is hereditary I lose/gain quickly by food and sleep only. I lose weight when I sleep less and eat less rice in just 3 days but I have friends who are fat even if they don't eat for 9 days (fasting). I also have friends who eat a lot but still skinny.

I recently found a website that has a fitness program including diet tracking, progress etc. It advocates 7-minute workouts and NO DIET. The guy says no diet works because you can't stay on them forever. He advocates building muscle using 7 min. workouts/3 days a week. You exercise until you have muscle failure (can't lift anymore). You can use bands or weights.
Muscle weighs more than fat so you might not lose weight right away but you will notice your clothes fit differently. He advocates added dietary fiber and extra protein in your diet. Your meat portion should be more than the other parts of your meal together. I've seen it work.

It is really very difficult to lose weight. I have been trying for a long time. I have heard green tea helps in losing weight.

She can try yoga. It helps, some of my colleague s lost weight by doing yoga
