Gary DeCarlo died today.
Who's he? He was the lead singer and songwriter in the band Steam. He died today after a battle with cancer.
Steam may or may not be known by name, but I guarantee you that you know their big hit.
So now we have to sing that for DeCarlo. Hope he would have appreciated the humor. All joking aside, he gave us a classic that people will still be singing as long as players foul out of basketball games, pitchers get pulled after a bad outing....and classic rock stations exist.
Gary DeCarlo was 75.

Used to come up in rotation pretty regularly at the station, and not just on the "classic weekend's."
