I went down to get myself a cup of coffee. The weather is cod, and i felt like having a steaming coffee. But as soon as i entered the place, it was filled with the aroma of cardamom. Oh, how pleasing!! The guy was making cardamom tea, and then i decided to ditch the coffee and have the tea instead! We make masala teas with different spices - ginger, cardamom, cinnamon, bay leaf , lemon grass to be few. A tea for every mood! Few amazing benefits of cardamom - * antioxidants * Boost Blood Circulation to the Skin * Reservoir of Essential Vitamins & Minerals * Protects Body from Cancer Growth * Reduces Risk of Hypertension * Relieves Headache * Heals Digestive Illnesses P.S - the image is from google!

@HAPPSINGH I don't know. Sometimes they put it in food and there are many occasions when I chewed it and I didn't like it

Have you ever tried it raw? Even i don't like chewing it when used in a dish. It picks the taste of other ingredients. Try the seeds raw, you might like it :) Even 1-2 seeds can be eaten instead of whole pod :)

We generally crush cardamom and mix it in tea to make it more tasty. The flavor and aroma of cardamom in tea is awesome.

@shaynas Actually, cardamom has such a wonderful aroma that it could enhance the flavour of any beverage like tea or even dishes.
