If your pain is from inflammation, as most pain is, turmeric does work. If you add black pepper and coconut or olive oil, it works better. I buy a premade made combination called Mega Food
Daily Turmeric (still have to add the oil) and it really has helped. I have had two surgeries in the last six weeks and that along with an occasional Tylenol is all I have needed after getting home from the hospital.

@horormike Best to see a doctor for it like a neurologist. They can prescribe physical therapy to help alleviate the pain.

It depends on what kind of pain. You need to be more specific. Take one or two of those tablets when needed and see a doctor, too.

sorry about that i didnt know that there would be a need to be specific i thought there was like a go to thing like lots of people use ibuprofen for most all pain but i really hate taking man made stuff if at all avoidable please see above conversation as for kind and location of pain thank you

@horormike It's okay. In order for us to help you, you need to be more specific in your answer. Yes ibuprofen can help with any ache in your body from headache to your back. I did see above conversation, and it was vague. Try meditation and yoga for lower back pain for example. Try heating pads, ice, elevating sprained ankle or wrist. Check Web MD to get more help online.
