Cannabis is totally safe but others keep telling me its unsafe any stoners or anti stoners that can explain?

haha its crazy how soo many people in this society use it for no reasons even though its Illegal in our country..

Why do people use it as medical though? And why would it be Legalised in such countries like Jamaica, Amsterdam etc
