I am now aware of the fact that it can pose as a threat to my life, but I have to live with it. In our day to day life we make use of a thousand common household products that can put us at a great risk of losing our very own lives...Naming a few are: 1. Mobile phones: being glued to the mobile phone for over an hour or so on a daily basis is good enough to cause permanent damage to your ears and disable our hearing abilities .Brain cancer isn't far away. USE OF HANDSFREE AND BLUETOOTH HEADSETS COULD BE OF GREAT HELP 2. New Carpets/Rugs : They contain a highly toxic agent called "VOC",which when comes in contact with air and when inhaled can cause serious heart ailments, nervous system disorders and even cancer. ALWAYS EXPOSE NEW CARPETS UNDER DIRECT SUNLIGHT FOR 36-48 hours BEFORE YOU BRING THEM INDOORS. 3. Air/Room fresheners: as already known to many, emit an enormous amount of toxic chemicals(aerosols) that's the culprit behind the depletion of the OZONE layer. USE AIR FRESHENERS WISELY AND JUDICIOUSLY. 4.Wall paints : cheap wall paints that start to peel off the walls after a couple of years releases a huge amount of LEAD and other harmful compound into the air in its surrounding, causing chronic health problems like asthma and heart diseases. ALWAYS INVEST IN GOOD QUALITY AND LEAD FREE PAINTS 5. cheap cosmetics: many women spend on cheap and lesser known brands in cosmetics. This is for them to know that non branded and cheap cosmetics contain "PTHALATES",that acts as a slow poison for your skin leading to skin cancer in the future. NEVER COMPROMISE ON BUYING GENUINE,BRANDED AND GOOD QUALITY COSMETICS AND SKIN CARE PRODUCTS. I hope this post is helpful .. please feel free to voice your opinion. Happy Mylotting!

An agent named VOC is used in the making of carpets.when we bring themy home.this toxic agent combines with the air around it and when inhaled causes some serious health hazard.always allow a new carpet to remain under the direct sunlight for at least two days before using them. This way the toxins get released outside and become safe for using them indoors.
