To rest the laundry or not rest the laundry....this is the question?!

Laundry is my least enjoyable household chore, would rather scrub toilets, however there never seems to be an end to it! Like grey hairs you do one load and two more pop up. This is even more apparent with the addition of our 15 month old son. So am I the only on that let's the clean foldered laundry "rest" in the basket before it is put away later....if it gets put away that is, before it is worn and turned into new dirty laundry?

I don't mind it but yes, I do often leave it piled up and just have a floordrobe instead of putting it away. I'm not very good at being tidy at all. I do try but, as you said, every time you do something (no matter what the job), there's always at least two more things come up.

Floor drone is brilliant, gave me a good chuckle. Yes there is always something that pops up. With children too I swear they see you clean something and the second you go clean something else they mess the thing you just cleaned.

@aCUNCUKabroad Yes, the children *whistles innocently* :) My eldest son has moved out and I've noticed a significant difference in the boys' bedroom since the younger one hasn't had to share it so often. I'm definitely the messy one here now, although the cat has to take some of the blame!

@pumpkinjam yes cats are interesting creatures with personalities all their own. It's always a constant struggle to keep the house in order....even more when I'm a bit OCD about it.

I am actually the opposite. I prefer to hang out and bring in the laundry, fold the laundry. I hate to clean the toilet and scrubbing the stains. You should get a trolley basket or 3 tier where you can put in the clean laundry. That is what my hubby got me. just push the 3 tier, put in the napkins, baby clothes and leave it near where I am sitting.
