Friends, I am in the market to buy a new washing machine.
I am bit confused which machine type should I go with.
Can you suggest me a top load is better or a front load?
If you have any brand and model which is good in performance and price then please let me know.

I had a top loading machine and it lasted for many years with some minor repairs. Now I have a front loading machine which I wanted to buy mainly because it saves space , since it can be kept under a shelf or kitchen platform if needed..I am quite happy with it.

I buy front load washing machines only. Although it seems they will spend longer time on washing the clothes, but I think they will not damage the clothes and the clothes are very clean after washing. I have a front load washing machine and it is very durable and we had used it for 10 years. We bought a new front load washing machine several months ago since the previous one is old but it still works properly. I think it is a waste but my dad insisted in buying a new one anyway.

I've been using a Sanyo top load washing machine for many years now and it only had to be fixed once. I've no idea if the model is still in the market. Maybe it's obsolete already

I am not sure what is better, just know top down seems easier to load, all though, front one seems fun can throw them in like a game. I know ours is a top down and over 20 years old. Has it problems but still works and gets the job done.
I usually look for durability and it as a tool, not fun and or how nice it looks. Actually prefer the uglier ones, because usually means works better. Corporate America really plays tricks on you this way. Not that you are from America, but rest of the world seems to follow what we do.

I think it depends on what you feel comfortable with. I have the top load and love it very much. Is this your first washer or have you had others in the past?
