Good Idea for storing Rain water.

Now it is rainy season here and i would like to store some rain water for future use. because we are finding very difficult for getting water other than rainy season. so do you guys have idea about this.

It's really a brilliant idea to store rain water, every house should have a system for it at their roofs.

@Bodyandbrain as you said making an arrangement to store water at the roof is good but we can't store much. So it should be diverted to earth to increase the water level.

@HeartBM only have three months of rain season and after that full of dry situation so how much possible is what I am looking for.

We have a tank of 100000 liter storage capacity and also I have diverted the water to my near place where we have a well. Hope it's useful

Well you better have lots of big containers and also dig some holes so the water clogged on that ditch.

Here in the Philippines today is kinda sunny but sometimes it has rain.I do the same things to save water in a big container for our plants.
