Another item saved from the landfill

When we had the bathroom counter tops replaced I hung onto one piece. The previous owner had used one cabinet/counter top for her make-up area. My husband always looks for things like that possibly useful in his workshop or basement, so I figured someone else might also. He didn't need it so why not sell it!
It took a while, but success! One of the woman who wanted to buy our area rugs (someone beat her to them) asked me Sunday if the counter was available. She said she would come for it today and by gosh she did! She said it perfectly matches her existing counters and she was happy to get it for only $20!
There is a buyer for everything - you just need to be patient! Thank you Facebook Yard Sale Groups.

@AbbyGreenhill She is a kind lady, I hope nobody will dump dog/puppy, those people are criminals.

I would rather see someone use it - this lady is from NJ also, so it was nice talking to someone with the same accept we have LOL! She is also into animal rescue - she said if anyone dumps another dog/puppy off to let her know and she will come get it. She lives an hour away on top of a mountain!

Yes, it can take awhile for the right buyer to find the items. I have had items sell within an hour but that's not normal!

She has a gap between counter and wall and is going to cut it down to the right size. I think she does a lot of her own remodeling!

It is nice that someone will use this and it won't go to the landfill! Too many useful things wind up being tossed when someone else could be putting it to good use.
