The End of CNN?

CNN doesn't like Trump. Trump doesn't like CNN.
Trump posts meme video of himself at WrestleMania. In the video, he tackles someone with a CNN logo superimposed over his head. It's a joke.
CNN responds by accusing Trump of inciting violence. They apparently couldn't tell that it was meant metaphorically.
CNN tracks down a 15 year old Reddit user who seems to have made the video and doxes him - publishes his personal information, then extorts an apology.
CNN does not get what jokes are.
Internet explodes with videos and memes ridiculing CNN. CNN does not seem to have been cognizant that this would backfire on them.
Turns out CNN probably got the wrong guy. They just publicly attacked someone who, it appears, didn't even create the meme that all the fuss is about.
Look, I get that people have a variety of colorful opinions about Mr. Trump. This isn't about him anymore. This about a massive news corporation using their power as a media outlet to threaten and intimidate a teenager because he made fun of them on the internet. Does anyone out there take CNN seriously anymore?
Edit: CNN did not dox him, but threatened to do so as a form of blackmail. And I'm seeing reports saying that he is not 15 years old.

CNN is a joke and so blatantly biased that they are not worth watching.

It's quite interesting that the media can dish it out but can't take it. Consider all the caricatures the media has presented of Trump (and other presidents) without any fear of backlash (this old "we have freedom of the press, you can't do anything to us" bull hockey). But if someone calls them on the carpet for being irresponsible they get their panties in a bunch and throw a hissy fit.

CNN will be just fine, they're not going anywhere! I personally watch MSNBC most of the time but I occasionally flip it onto CNN and except for the few RWNJs they insist on putting on every show they're quite credible.
Now Fox News is the one that should be taken off the air. They just read from Kellyanne's "alternative facts".

CNN has not been credible for a long time. No one who follows political news trusts them. Only the blind general public who are clueless tune in anymore. I hope they shut down.

Did anyone ever take the Clinton News Network seriously. I like the British Broadcasting Communists music on Radio 3 but steer clear of their political inclinations.
