i would expecially if their is more than one person against my family/friend i believe that you should always help family out no matter what

Ya, I would help too. However, if my friend/family is known to constantly get into fights because they initiate it, then I may think twice.

Of course! You don't hurt people I love. I avoid violence, but I'm not going to stand by why people I love are injured. I have jumped in for my brother and also a friend before. In these circumstances I feel it is ok to fight.
