They were as influencial to 70's music as the Beatles were in the 60's. The track was inspired by the bass player listening to a Muddy Waters song. 2. This Spanish group with a German lead singer had an international hit with this tune. Although the band was from Spain, they sang this hit in English and recorded it in London. The 60's track peaked at # 2 in the UK. 3. The song is off the Katy Lied album. This single reached # 37 on the charts and marked the first appearance of Michael McDonald on the LP.
