Tattoos began as religious and traditional symbols in India and elsewhere in the world but now have reached ridiculous levels where even intimate parts of the body is not spared. One gets to hear about the damage caused by this all the time. I have nothing against tattoos since my children too sport them but one should be sensible about it rather than go overboard.

@kiran8 i have not seen an indian women in tattoo. A homemaker never does this in india, i have seen a women who does tattoos has tattooed on her

I think it's cool to have one... I used to plan to have one myself...but I didnt... First I didn't know what picture to use, once I found one I had trouble finding the right place for it...

I have seen a few tattoos like those. Some look good. A few others, not so much. I saw a butterfly in a female area, that didn't look the greatest stretched out.
