Long Day Outside - Headache Consuming Me - Anxiety Disorder

Black & White Picture of a Painting in My Home

Today I had to attend a meeting about TRADOS, a CAT TOOL used by professional translators, in order to make my work faster for the translation agencies I dedicate my time to as an autonomous translator. As I normally do, I woke up very early in the morning and after walking the dog and having my breakfast, I left home straight to São Paulo for the meeting. In fact, I forgot how stressful is to be in a so huge city. All that noise and people walking here and there in a hurry just hit me hard and the moment I stepped out the subway, I began feeling dizzy and my head was spinning like crazy in so much pain. I don't need to say that the meeting was a disaster for me. I could understand well what the lecturer was saying and all the teachings were really great, but I was just thinking about coming back home, take a pill and rest. Fortunately, I could get back home earlier than I thought. I took a pill and a very long and warm shower, and rest a bit after coming to the computer and start my translation project due to this Wednesday 12th. I still think this was a mild anxiety crisis, or panic disorder, because when I got back home and was in my calm city, I relaxed and all the pain has gone. Even when I was in the interstate bus, I felt a little better. Even though, as a precaution, I took one pill and rest to feel even more relaxed and ready to work. How about you my friends? Do you feel uncomfortable in crowded places or monstrous cities when you visit them? Or when you feel you are in the middle of a stressful road or even in buses or subway trains do you panic or feel you are having an anxiety crisis?

I do understand you @marlina! This feeling is horrible, but I will have to face it sometimes when I have the meetings to make my work flows better.

That is right! A good salary and moving to a small city would be perfect. Well, I live in a small one called Petrópolis, but I would prefer even to live in rural areas, really far away from humans! One day, who knows it happens @Prshnth!
