When was the last time you used a desktop computer?

I can't remember the last time I used a desktop. I've been using a laptop since I entered College. Personally, I think a desktop is quite limited in mobility. You can't move it around if you want to. A laptop on the other hand, can be moved around and is handy. Mobility is a very important factor to me as I carry my personal computer around most times.
Personally, I think desktops are gradually phasing out of the system and are being replaced by laptops. What do you think?

Nice choice! I hope it's equally as fast.

@Koomanter Yeah, it's pretty fast... I don't have too much stuff in it that would slow it down.

I think desktops will eventually become obsolete. But I love mine because I can actually type on a keyboard.

I also think so, unless probably there's a breakthrough in the desktop world.

A few days ago, I went to my secretary's desk to print something because I didn't bring my laptop in the office.

I have one at work, so the last time I used it was when I turned in my time sheet for the end of June. I'm off until September, so that's how long it'll be before I use one again. Laptops and tablets are taking over.

I always use a desktop. I don't care about mobility. I prefer a larger screen and easier keys. I find greater control on a desktop than a laptop. You aren't living life glued to a computer wherever you go.

The question is what do you use instead, meaning they are phasing out.

Same here, a laptop user since 5 years, once you get used to it, there's no desktopping back !
