my doctor has prescribed my girlfriend sleeping pills but she doesnt like taking them, are there any natural remedies or 'tricks' to getting to sleep at night? I used to drink warm milk ;) apparently you shouldnt watch tv as it makes you more alert..

Maybe have her try melatonin? I have heard it helps.

Tell your girlfriend that 1 hour before sleep, drink warm milk, stay away from computer, laptop, cell[hone, TV. Just relax and exercise light. When she tires out, she will fall asleep

OF COURSE, you shouldn't watch TV before going to bed or even in bed.

Per my opinion sleeping pills is not good as people get addicted to it and they caƱt sleep without pills thereafter. Counting 1 to 100 will work for kids. Some use to read tedious books. I use to read novels and get sleep immediately. She can try out this if shez interested in this. Or she may recall the good things happend throughout the day. This will definetely work out

I have used chamomile tea to enduce sleeping. Its working for me. Music and aroma therapy can also help.
