It's been a week since I last posted on here and I've noticed I've been slacking off with my posts for the last month. But life kept me pretty busy and now that my schedule is freeing up, I'm going to try to be active on here more often. So for today's post, I thought I'd give a quick update on what's been going on. *It's hot here in VA. This week temps have been in the upper 90s, which means I've been staying inside. Luckily, the repairman came this week to fix the AC so at least we've got it nice and cool in our home. *I finally finished editing my book. It looks like I'm going to reach my goal of an August/September release date. I'll probably do one more quick read through and format the manuscript before I submit the story. Plus, I also need to find a picture for the book cover, I'm thinking of using a rose to symbolize the romance in the story. *I've been searching for other work at home opportunities to help with my income. I was hoping to find something high-paying like chat agent or customer service rep, but I'm having no luck with them. But I did find some writing, editing, and short tasks sites that seem promising, so I'll probably give them a try. All right, enough rambling about me. What have you been up to MyLot family?
