I just wonder what goes through the minds at the studios at Disney by remaking the Aladdin movie in a live action setting? Mena Massoud will be play "Aladdin", Naomi Scott of "Power Rangers" fame will play "Jasmine" and Will Smith will be The Genie. The announcement of the actors who will star in the movie was made on Saturday D23 Expo. So much for my previous story that the Disney studio was having a hard time locating actors to play the live action roles of "Aladdin." I guess Hollywood ran out of original characters to entertain us so now with the success of "Beauty And The Beast", Disney is hoping to strike gold with "Aladdin". Good luck with since I need these movies to succeed so I can lampoon them on my fan fictions on Devianart and Archive Of Our Own with my original characters "The Ladies Of Portobelo" who are a fictional female super hero group.

Be careful since The Ladies Of Portobelo are known for their kicking the behinds of their enemies with the punchline "This is all your fault." Slapstick comedy at its finest.

I know what you mean since the first movie was great while the sequels fell short of my expectations.

If It stays close to the original cartoon story, it will be a hit. I will bet you that Disney will add some gay characters in the movie just to get the conservatives ticked off.
