My math teacher I had in 9th grade. We became good friends and stayed good friends until he died. His wife did not like our friendship.

My condolences I kept changing schools a lot due to my father's transfers, so I couldn't keep up a contact with them

SAI, was he in the military or the govt? That must have been hard making new friends all the time.
