The new Tomb Raider will be back next year. The new Lara Croft is starring by Alicia Vikander. Somewhat I think Angelina Jolie suits this character but perhaps now she can't take this character since she is not that young or she is bored to act this character again and again?
Alicia Vikander seems to be a little weak and soft for Lara. And Angelina Jolie is wild and sexy.

I think she makes a cute Lara. Lara doesn't have to be sexy. She needs to be adventurous and tough and Alicia looks like she can be that. It all depends on the story.
