Yesterday the three of us, my teenager, my son and I were down with diarrhea that had drained our energy.
I had 2 runs from 7am in the morning after breakfast. My teenager had 3 runs at 8am. Mt school age son was the unfortunate one, he had severe diarrhea in school that had smeared his underwear, school uniform and he was ashamed.
When he reached home at 1.30pm, he was pale, perspiring and had another run. It was the 2nd huge diarrhea he had in a day. After taking a shower, he had another 2 runs, spontaneously. He was exhausted, tired and dehydrated.
I gave him warm porridge, warm water and veggies for lunch. Then I gave him a bottle of Chinese round tiny pills called Po Chi Yen, to stop the diarrhea.
He felt better after the medicatiin while my teenager and I didn't take any meds.
Consider ourselves lucky that we didn't ended in the hospital. Must be the fried chicken sold in the Indian restaurant because we ate the chicken but my hubby didn't. That is why he was safe.
When was the last time you had diarrhea?

I couldn't remember when was the last time I had diarrhea. When I do it's because of amoeba so I just don't take ordinary meds, I take metronidazole which is kind of antibiotic.
I'm careful with what I eat and drink.

@peachpurple I also suspect the chicken, raw chicken can easily develops toxins if not kept in the refrigerator until the moment to cook it.

I don't remember, to be precise!
I guess, it must have been around yesteryear's summer. Summer times are the times when we are more prone to water borne diseases. I hope you and your family's okay.
Take more precautions in the future and drink lots of mineral and coconut water.
Peace

Oh my. Glad you are fine now. I don't eat anything outside during the rains, it's not good for health.

I had mine last January after new year celebration. That was due to i ate the left over food in our fridge though i know it was still safe but i ate different foods at the same time so my tummy can not hundle it. As what i know the best food for dearrhea is Banana. So ate a lot of Banana that day then water with salt solution.

Sorry to hear that. Left over food should be discarded if turn stale
