I've just run across this stuff and was wondering if anyone has any tips/tricks for working with it. Do I need special tools? For those that don't know what it is, it's a waterbased clay that has been impregnated with silver crystals that you can bend, shape, twist into whatever you can make with clay. They it is fired which causes the clay to burn off leaving just the silver in the shape you molded it.

Thank you! I get so nervous when I post my stuff. No, those hearts weren't from online. I have a beautiful, yet a bit spendy bead shop in the town I live in. They were in a "grab bin" of different Czech glass beads. I feel in love with them because they so much look like fire cherry quartz beads I have. The store is called Sea of Beads, they do have a website but no sales stuff. http://www.seaofbeadsinc.com

you need a kiln or blow torch because it takes a high heat to burn off the clay.

I thought all you needed was an oven? I've got a blow torch, but still, wow... I still haven't had time to try this stuff out. Other than torching it, is it as easy to work with as Sculpey?

I've been really curious about it, but haven't tried it. I'd love to make a pendant or something out of it, but I've been hoping someone else will try it first and let me know how it worked.
