Chrome snaps, Firefox deletes and I can't log in!

I am only able to post this thanks to a borrowed laptop.
I mentioned last time that I have been experiencing a problem trying to log in with Chrome due to the annoying 'Aw, snap!' message and page crash. This can probably be resolved easily on other devices but not on the type I use, especially as the manufacturers have now virtually abandoned support here for it.
So I installed Firefox and that was slow but OK...for a while. But now, whenever I try to log in to myLot, I only get so far with entering my email address and then it starts deleting characters - and that's it. Stuck! This even happens on the borrowed laptop and other devices.
It's all very frustrating, especially having come back here after a break and being close to $5.00.
And if anyone replies, I will try and get back to you - but, for reasons mentioned here, it may take a while...
EMBARRASSED UPDATE: Well, don't I feel the fool! The log-in.page doesn't specify what you have to put in the top box and, having been here so irregularly lately and therefore out of practice, I was typing in my email address and not my username. I'm back in here now, on Firefox. Having said that, trying my username instead of my email makes the 'Aw, snap!' come up even quicker on Chrome.
I blame it on being a technophobe/Luddite who came to computers very late.
Thanks to all who replied and offered help wiith my mostly non-existent problem!

Yes, there is. The something wrong turns out to be...me, trying to type my email instead of my username! It's at times likes these that I wish I used emojis then I could express my mortification with a single image.

Chrome works well for me. So does Firefox. And IE. And Microsoft Edge. I think you're just jinxed. :)

Lol. I have been frustrated with Netflix. I used to watch it on Edge and now I have to watch it on Firefox. I can't log in on Netflix on Chrome. With Mylot, I use a browser that my antivirus software has.

It's like suddenly being refused membership to a club where you've been a regular visitor.

No, I scan regularly. Just a shame-faced user who was typing in the wrong thing....!
