What's going on your dinner table tonight? I want to know! It is just me tonight but I still need to eat so I'm making a full meal. It is all from scratch of course. Grilled marinated turkey london broil, corn risotto stuffed poblano peppers (a new recipe I am trying from my Smitten Kitchen cookbook), and cucumber salad. I just roasted the peppers on the stovetop so the house smells soooo good! That's what's happening here. What are YOU having? Do tell!
It's been entirely too long since I've posted a recipe, which is crazy because all we do is cook. I tend to get caught up in the process an...

That sounds quite good! Most of the time when I go to a Mexican restaurant I get a Chili Rellono the sutffed Poblano it is so good! I had spaghetti, with turkey meat sauce and salad.

I love poblanos and I love risotto so it sounds like a winner to me! Spaghetti with meat sauce sounds delicious to me too.

That sure looks good. I'm not sure about the poblanos part. I never heard of turkey london broil, though I haven't had the regular version in ages. Let me know how it goes. I'm doing basil and potato tortellini (leftover from my package for my crockpot chicken alfredo tortellini) with garlic bread and salad. Water to drink with leftover chocolate lava cake for dessert.

@KristenH It is pretty good. I don't always see it in the store so I pick a few up when they are available. A nice alternative to beef or chicken.

Yum! I absolutely love seafood. I need to make linguine with white clam sauce soon. I haven't had that in ages and it is one of my favorite meals ever.

That sounds great! Anne put a pork roast in the crock pot earlier with some carrots and stuff and it smells very good at nearly 5 PM.

when you say that, is that like pasta with tomato meat sauce? or just spaghetti and ground beef? My grandmother used to make us "juicy hamburger" when we would sleep over there as young children. It was ground beef, chopped onion, salt, flour, and water to make a sauce and that was probably it along with elbow macaroni. We LOVED it! Poor man's food I know now that I am grown but we thought we were having something really special. It tasted amazing because she cooked with salt which my mother never did.

I don't have much of an appetite on this hot day so maybe I will just have a fast grilled cheese.

Yum! I was on a kick for awhile where I made that all the time. I did it with anchovies and everything. . . though no raw egg yolk I don't think.
