Yea, that's it. Do you consider yourself a concerned citizen of the world? Or, are you like those who don't care about those things? *meh...I got better things to do! *concern for world issues? Not my cup of tea! *concern? What concern? *world concern? Hmm.. I used to concern a bit about my financial situation, but I don't know how it'll help with world concern. *sorry dear, I'm getting late for the office. *we want world peace, yay! *I like concern! Concern's awesome! *And bla bla bla...yada yada yada! What do you say? Are you a concerned citizen of the world?

Probably not concerned enough. My take on it is many people are self-absorbed. It is part of our makeup. Most of us are not Mother Teresa or Gandhi. I think we are more genuinely concerned when something directly affects us. Why, because it disturbs the bubble which is our day to day life and then we become concerned

I didn't say to leave our day to day duties and go on for hunger strikes and what not. I just said are you concerned and have tried even a little for such things or not! A quote of Mother Teresa, "We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean. But the ocean would be less because of that missing drop." We don't have to be like them. We just have to try at least on our parts. Thanks for your comments. Enjoy your day. :)

Speaking for myself, my heart bleeds each time I see how crazy things have become in our society; it saddens my heart not just because we live in a problem world but because no one is ready to solve these problems as we are all busy running after virtues and wealth. I hope and pray that this world becomes a better place for the generation coming after us to leave in. God bless America

Yeah, me too. It's a shame how things are turning out and how people are being ignorant in these times. But not all! There are still some people who think about it, and work hard for it. Thanks for your comments. Have a nice day. :)
