Garden monsters

Its a small monster and yet I get the heebie jeebies from this little guy more than most any other garden pest that I can think of.
A few small but good enough sized bell peppers are growing for me. I noticed there was the start of a brown spot on two of the peppers so I harvested them. I cut into one tonight, chopping it into my stir fry. I carefully cut away the bad spot, seeking a who did that? as I cut.
Oh Lordy. Out crawled an ear wig. My nightmare and also my foe. Guess the little nasty life had to eat just like I like to eat but hey, can't he live somewhere else? Such an ugly critter. The stuff of monster movies.

Ugly in deed. I was deathly afraid of them when I was child. Don't see any around here.

@sallypup Yes. There were many in my daughter´s house and they had to fumigate them.

I was chopping a green tomatoes to fry and seen a little worm, I discarded that whole section.

@andriaperry I'm with you though I only cut out the brown area cause its a shame to toss out the whole harvest.
