How did I wind up in this situation?

I want to relax. But no. I have to play the first set of a gig with our Country Band, then jet over to another Cafe and play two sets with a middle-aged rock 'n roll band. The band leader from the Country band is ticked off at me, but I've hardly missed any practices or gigs in three years. To heck with him. Have you ever accidentally "over-scheduled" yourself? How did it turn out?

I sure have and it wasn't too bad. I told a friend I would be over to help her and then a little later I remembered that I had an appointment. I called my friend and even though she was unhappy she understood. We just made plans for a different day. I know this is not like your over-scheduling but it is in the same catagory.

Wow, I've never known a "bar band" musician who needed a police escort to get between gigs on time!
Good luck!
