My cupboard is bare! What did you have for breakfast on this beautiful Sunday?

I'm slightly traumatized. After my first cup of coffee, I wanted some breakfast and discovered that there's almost nothing to eat here! My breakfast turned out to be: the last of my lox, four left over chips from Friday's burrito, and half a bowl of corn flakes. I think I'm going to have to hit Trader Joe's this morning. Later I'll hit the pool, and then go to a music party at 4 PM. What did you have for breakfast today? Was it more (ful)filling than mine? I sure hope so! I want to live vicariously though you until I can get to the store.

Don't think my breakfast would tempt you. I had raisin bran with 1% milk and coffee

I never really liked raisins for some reason! I'm going to score more lox, more cereal, and maybe some bagels.

I had a half of a stale donut. Fine with me for now. Don't think you can compete with that.

You have outdone me! Did you at least have some coffee with it? I just found the pancake photo in my collection of random photos I've taken over the past couple of years. Now I'm even hungrier.

I haven't had breakfast yet but there was a mostly empty bag of tater tots in the freezer. There are only 6 there so I'm baking them in my NuWave oven so as not to heat up the house. I will probably heat up a hard boiled egg to have with them. I have a craving for corned beef hash, too, but that's not in my pantry so maybe another time. Have fun at the pool and the party!

Idlis...I have spare batter if you want some...LOL. I am having such periods of no stock. I never did till I managed household purchases till a couple of years. Then I took a serious plunge at clearing home loans on war footing and dad took charge. Now he is not giving it back...groan. So yes, we do run out. I tend to purchase month's stock at one go so there never is a moment of being "out of stock". Dad on the other hand buys when the stock is exhausted. To each his own way of doing it...I think dad's way creates stress because suddenly he has to go buy something...or he forgets something. One sweet song I came across this morning after Sugar Moon..

Before my three mile walk, I had a cup of coffee, a few roasted nuts and some kind of organic "bite" thing from Costco (really good). Now that I am back I am going to have more coffee and some cereal with yogurt on it.

Almost every camping ground we've been in has fresh baguettes every morning. You usually have to order the night before and by 8am next morning we're chomping on baguettes made as only the French seem able to do.

I can't say that I've ever tasted Lox, but would love to try it sometime! My breakfast today was a piece of string cheese, a toasted English muffin with strawberry jam, and 1/2 a banana. To drink, I always enjoy a large cup of freshly-brewed coffee. It was great!
