Hello, dinner and Magnum Force.

I've been absent the last few days. Part of that has to do with connection problems and part of it just has to do with me just not feeling it. But here I am trying to get back into the swing of things. I just pulled dinner out of oven. It's chorizo sausage and potatoes baked in olive oil and some seasonings. I found the chorizo on sale at Winn Dixie this morning for $2.50 a pound. The whole meal cost about $4.50 to make and there will be plenty of leftovers. We are watching the second Dirty Harry movie tonight and will probably end up watching the third as well. What is everyone else up to?

Very frugal meal! I smoked a $7.50 pork shoulder today and made pulled pork. There is enough that we will be eating it for days. I'm going to need to think up something else to do with it. It was a great deal when I got it, though, at just 99 cents a pound. After dinner I think I'm going to watch some more of Season 1 of the Outlander series.

Irritating people also play apart in your absent I'm sure. As they do most of my days that i barely do anything here (not that those are often, lol). Hope you enjoy the movies.. any snacks to go with them?

Just as you've done, I sometimes just pull away somewhere to gather my personal thoughts. That's a great way to clear our minds and focus on those things that are most important to us. In both our cases, it's always family members!:)
