Created a new art piece yesterday

Trying to get out of the funk and away from all the stress that I am under worrying about house repairs, so i tried to get my creative juices flowing and otherwise occupy my mind. So I sat down in front of the computer early Saturday morning and started working with my photos and came up with a new art piece. This is something I created from a photo of the end of a log it had an interesting pattern in the center of it.. that looked feather or leaf like.

I love it. The colors are gorgeous. It would make a great piece for the Fall holidays, Thanksgiving maybe even as a set of placemats or table runner.

when we were in our elementary years, we had art education, and one project we had was the paper mosaic. another is a string soaked in a colored ink, press the string between a bond paper and another sheet of paper, pull the string, and a good art is shown. you definitely have the creative juices, my dear.

@ridingbet yes, i have gotten more creative. now that digital photography and easy to use apps have arrived. I guess as long as you have an eye for it..

Thank you.. hoping it sells, I put it on a couple sites.. seems more like a piece for the fall so with summer half over .. maybe someone will buy it on something.
