Do you do the same in darkness that you would do in light of day?

I wonder about this sometimes.
People do things in the dark that they might not even think about doing in the full light of day.
Such is the way of the world. People would not do things that are destructive or immoral as much if cameras were pointed at them on social media live streaming.
The good thing about cell phones and their cameras is that they have actually become a deterrent to certain public acts of violence. The policeman who might use lethal restraint might think twice about not doing so if a camera phone were pointed at them and posting it on social media sites like Facebook and other sites.
The news media is proving that when people act stupid, angry or just plain bad, in public, even in the light of day, the camera phone has made them think twice before doing a stupid thing that will not only get them in trouble with the law but make them think twice before acting once.

There is always an exception to the rule. Basically the law can use video footage as evidence in a crime so yes, I believe it is a deterrent in many cases, but the exception being people who deliberately video tape violence to get off by it. These are truly the sickest and most depraved people on the planet and make the world a very sad place for many of us.

@lookatdesktop yes that's true. You have a point there. The technology is used for both good and evil for real too.

It probably will never be the same ever again on a global as well as local level. Now days privacy is the front seat of your car or that special table at the bar. You know what I mean?
