Messenger or IRC?

MIRC.. iahte yahoo for the viruses...

I have both ! I use Messenger everyday and IRC everyday too :P ! I prefer messenger, i don't know why.

I prefer using the yahoo messenger

Oh my i didnt know IRC is still working..I started chatting through IRC,that was 1996 and i think i just stayed there for 2 years then started chatting yahoo messenger..now i dont use IRC anymore and only use msn and yahoo messenger.

I used to use mIRC alot, but nowadays I only use my MSN Messenger. :-)

i prefer yahoo messenger. i've got lots of bad experience with irc, its brimming full of virus and worms.

I prefer use messenger but i use it MSN not Yahoo messenger

it depends on the user. Features of Messenger over mIRC. in MSN u can have attractive GUI in MSN u can voice chat with othere people but in IRC you can't. - more securities features in messenger but receiving files on IRC is dangerous. -you can have video conference in messenger but not on mIRC. thx.
