Do you know How to change a flat tire?

Today my mum sent me for shopping. She told me to use her car. After packing the car at the mall parking lot, I realized the right back wheel was flat. I called my mum to inform her. She told me the tire had a slow puncture and she didn't remember to tell me to change it first.
I changed the the wheel.

In my days, men knew how to change a flat tire. And we, poor damsels, knew how to make them change it for us. They were, then, knights in shining armors and we, at the most, could hand them the tools if they told us what they wanted. I did not have to do that more than once or twice. But I thank in my heard the unknown prince who did it for me.

@EMuhungi Those were the days when men opened the doors for women. And they thanked them instead of saying that they could do it by themselves

Yes I do. Had to do it a few times Evanson.
Although now, I may not have enough strength to get lug nuts off.
Sorry to hear that happened to you today.

That should be SOP if you drive a car.

@EMuhungi some know how but lacks the strength, that is why it is also important to keep the studs and bolts well greased. Over here you can flag down a jeepney public transport with no passengers and ask them to help you for a few pesos provided you are not in an isolated area.

@louievill Sure, If not in an isolated area, one can easily find help. But learning to DIY is essential when one is stranded in the woods. It would help you to pull yourself out of such a situations.

I think it is still important if you drive a car. Just in case...but it depends.

I don't, mostly because there's always someone else to do it but I agree that it's an important thing to learn.
