How can I earn more money online with mylot discussions?

"More money"? Have you earned any at all yet? I joined a couple of days ago and while I can only see my balance for the first day I made $1.07. As I am new I'm not sure what exactly we make money from but it doesn't seem that responded to other people's responses will get us anywhere - only to the questions. Sorry I am also trying to understand.
