Should you give up?

I'm watching a show called The Voice right now..and here I am gonna pour my heart again..I am a frustrated singer/composer myself..I joined contests..heck,I even auditioned for The Voice once..I'm not gonna boast about myself here but I know Gods gift I have. But through the years..it feels like,should I even push it? If you have something in your heart,they say you gotta follow what sets your soul on fire..but,too many things in life meddles and tangles with it somehow you get way out of track. So..you ask yourself at one point, have I given up or should I give up? OK...shoooo drama!!

If I am you I will give up.
If you want to be a singer do you have to go through this? I'm sure there are other ways for you to get to your dream without put yourself into all this. All the best. Hope to be able to buy a CD from you one day..

Sometimes heart say give up but hope whispers try one more time.Read the story maybe you will get answer of your question.
A girl wanted to be an actress because she thinks she had a talent of acting.One day she went for an audition and got rejected.It hurt her badly.She started to work harder and pushed herself.Once more she went for audition and luckily got selected for movie.After working in that movie she didn't get any role for 5-6 years.So what's the point of being an actress?Now she gave up on acting and begin a successful business.
There's a time to give up when you don't find any way.

Seriously, people with lesser talent man up and do the audition. So I'd say swallow that shyness and do the audition again and again and again...

Which season? You should never give up on your dreams. There's been some contestants who return to the show after they've practiced and refined their voice and song choice who made it. Take the feedback you get it and make it better.
