I do think the benefits were very much exaggerated over it all, to raise the minimum cost of Labour without pushing up the end price of products defies logic, something has to give.

More jobs, yes, but not stable ones and not good enough if you have a family

It has been a blessing though, now I can work outside with RM1000 the minimum wages. Last time I get only RM800.

Way too many temporary jobs here way too many that is what has happened over time.

I've never known Canada to not have a minimum wage....when I first started to work (for wages) the minimum wage was $2.24 per hour....a pound of ground beef was $0.99. Now 45 years later minimum wage is $11.00 per hour.....some times I can find ground beef for $2.69/ lb
