Just because you can do it

Just because you CAN do something, does it mean you should?
We are skeptical of the health of our vehicles. I have been watching one on a buy sell trade site. Hubby liked it okay, and was going to look at it. HOWEVER
Although I am certain we CAN get money to buy it, we still have money out on our dead truck. I do not think we SHOULD do it, that is I do not think we need to roll over our car loan, and have three cars on it, two of which are dead or at least questionable.
We will start saving some money up. There will be a solution for us. We just need to be patient.
In the long run we will be more comfortable with our budget. Princess does what she pleases, as long as we keep on feeding her.

Yes, we have some debt that will pay off in October or November, but also some medical to pay on. If these cars we have do okay until then we will be happy.

We have no house payment other than taxes, but while getting ready to move we ended up with credit card debt, plus payed some medical with cards. Our income would handle the loan, I just do not want to.In the summer since I work for schools, I do not have a paycheck, so we are in that time frame right now, plus hubby has had medical expenses all year. We have enough reserve that if our other car cannot be made road worthy we can buy something less expensive.

Cars are horrors aren't they? I kept good maintenance on my last one but still with older cars there is always something.

We have one that we got very cheaply and it is being worked on, questioning whether it will be fixed soon or not. If it is then problem is solved.

I am trying to get hubby to turn over a new leaf. In addition, if we wait about six months we will have some debt eliminated and can buy a better car.

I think saving up will be the best idea. =) I wouldn't want to borrow money if I can avoid it.

Actually we have some money in reserve, just did not want to spend it. It would not buy quite so nice a car, either.

We have some money in reserve, plus a vehicle that is in a repair process. We will see what goes on, or we will buy something for less.

Well, the two are combined as one, but we have to keep maximum insurance on them. We have no home loan, but also have some medical to pay off.
