Just about everyone knows how to cook rice, don't they? I was told that cooked rice will be stale after a day or so. Every morning I cook rice for breakfast and dinner. I get lunch for free in the office, so I only need to cook two and a half cups of rice. That'll be enough for two meals.
When I got home at 6 p.m, I found the cooked rice was no longer good. It was stale.Does anyone here know how to keep cooked rice so that I can eat it for dinner?

Of course. That's also what I do. The problem is when the rice is not eaten up, can we make it fresh until the next day?

I cook in the rice cooker, let it cool, put it in a glass bowl, cover it with the lid and put it in the fridge. It is good for around 4 days that way. I fry it up when I want some. Very cheap meal.

We always cook rice every meal. I can't eat rice if it's not freshly cooked all the time.

maybe you can put it in the refrigerator before you leave then reheat it for dinner.

Putting it in the fridge is certainly the solution.

@yanzalong i think it also depends which season it is. when it's colder, we have no problem leaving the leftover rice in the rice cooker, but when it's hot, it spoils easily.
